LIPOSOMAL APIGENIN’S EFFECT ON SLEEP

Earlier this year, we gave away free bottles of all our new Liposomal products to the first 30 people that responded and who were willing to test the impact on their inflammation (Hs-CRP) and NAD+ levels.

Liposomal Apigenin was one of the products we sent out.

Several products showed benefit for lowering inflammation and/or increasing NAD+, but perhaps the most exciting surprise was the effect of Liposomal Apigenin on sleep.

INCREASE IN DEEP SLEEP

A surprising finding was that several participants reported a notable increase in their deep sleep – as measured on their Oura ring, Whoop, or Fitbit sleep trackers.

There were also reports of more restful sleep (less wakening), more dreams, better recovery and other sleep factors but those were not as clear and we want a lot more testing on this.

MUCH LARGER INCREASE IN DEEP SLEEP WITH HIGHER DOSAGES

Those taking 2 or 3 capsules a day reported the largest increase in deep sleep. Some from <15 minutes to >40 minutes per night.

DEEP SLEEP DROPS BACK DOWN WHEN NOT USED

This is the most exciting part to verify the efficacy. Several users report that when they stoppd taking for 1 night, deep sleep drops back down. Take the next night, and it zooms back up.

BENEFIT TO SLEEP IS NOT NEWS – SIZE OF EFFECT IS

Apigenin is the active ingredient in chamomile, which has been used for centuries to help people relax and get better sleep.

Research has been published showing this effect. But we were shocked at the magnitude and consistency of the effect our Liposomal Apigenin seems to have.

It is well known that Liposomal delivery greatly improve the bioavailability of poorly absorbed products like Apigenin. Now it seems the slower, timed release of Liposomes also improve the effectiveness for sleep.

UPCOMING RESEARCH STUDY

We want to confirm these results with a much larger sample size to help fine tune the research study we will have starting later this summer.
