Anti-Aging Effects of NMN – Human Clinical Trials Review

Resveratrol supplementation effectively protected mice against age-related muscle mass loss, heart cell enlargement, and motor dysfunction.

Study Demonstrates Age Reversal through Cellular Reprogramming with Chemical Cocktails – David Sinclair

A team of scientists from Harvard Medical School discovered a method to distinguish young cells from old and senescent cells in real time.  This allowed them to quickly screen the effect of different molecules on cellular health.

Using this method, they were able to identify 6 different combinations of molecules that can be used to “reset” the age of cells to a youthful, healthy state.

Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) Increases Plasma NMN and Insulin Levels in Healthy Subjects

This new study found that for the first time that NMN supplementation in humans increases levels of NMN in blood plasma.

All previous studies with NMN and NR have not been able to detect measurable increase in blood levels of NMN or NR.

They also found increased levels of NAD+ and insulin levels.

Study Shows NR Injections Increase Muscle NAD+ in Mice, Oral Supplementation Does Not

NR injections boosted NAD+ levels in skeletal muscle and white adipose tissue.

A ~140% increase in muscle NAD+ was observed after 7 days of IV administration of NR. Oral administration failed to increase NAD+ levels compared to the control group (figure A).

Several Health Benefits and Medicinal Uses of Crocin of Saffron

Free Red Saffron Spice on Brown Wooden Spoon Stock Photo

Saffron is one of the most expensive spices in the world, with a costly production process. The spice comes from the flower saffron crocus flower or Crocus sativus. The thread-like structures of the flower called stigma give saffron its name. Crocin is the most chemically active component of saffron and one of its […]

All About Shilajit And Its Medicinal Use

Lens, Finger, Hand, Camera lens, Cameras & optics,

Shilajit is a tar-like sticky black substance found mainly in mountainous regions. It is primarily found in the Himalayas and is vastly popular in South Asia. Shilajit has a range of benefits associated with it. It is quite famous for its boosting effects on male sexual wellness and fertility. You can see the dark color […]

NAD+ IV increases NAD+ levels in blood plasma 400% in humans

This study was just published that documented changes in plasma and urine levels of NAD+ and its metabolites during and after 750 mg NAD+ intravenous (IV) infusion. A Pilot Study Investigating Changes in the Human Plasma and Urine NAD+ Metabolome During a 6 Hour Intravenous Infusion of NAD+ Surprisingly, no change in plasma (NAD+) or […]

Oral Hyaluronic Acid: Advanced Support for Skin, Joint Health and Longevity

Supplementation with HLA may improve joint function, reduce wrinkles and even extend lifespan. What is Hyaluronic Acid? Hyaluronic acid (a.k.a. hyaluronan, HA, or HLA) is a substance naturally found in many areas of the human body including the skin, eyes, and synovial fluid of the joints. Preserves Tissue Hydration More than 50% of the […]

Why Dr. Sinclair takes NMN instead of NR

There has been little, if any, head to head research published comparing Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) and Nicotinamide Riboside (NR). However, Dr. Sinclair recently said he takes NMN instead of NR based on research he did that found NR did not work at all, while NMN increased the endurance in older mice such that they were […]

NAD+ and the Hallmarks of Aging Series – Part 9: Altered Intercellular Communication

Intercellular communication: communication between cells All species of animals, including the human being, are multicellular organisms (an organism that consists of more than one cell). In order to work collectively and maintain the homeostasis across multiple tissues, our cells have developed multiple different ways to receive, process, and transmit information between each other, including endocrine, […]

Newly Found Benefits of Resveratrol in Health and Anti-aging

Resveratrol is a polyphenol derived from plants with antioxidant properties that have been shown to enhance the activation of the body’s own self-repair proteins, called sirtuins. When sirtuins are activated, the effect is delayed aging, which has been demonstrated in a wide spectrum of experimental models, including mammals.
