Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) Increases Plasma NMN and Insulin Levels in Healthy Subjects

This new study found that for the first time that NMN supplementation in humans increases levels of NMN in blood plasma.

All previous studies with NMN and NR have not been able to detect measurable increase in blood levels of NMN or NR.

They also found increased levels of NAD+ and insulin levels.

Study Shows NMN Reduces Arterial Stiffness & Blood Pressure

“Several human clinical trials indicate that NR and NAM supplementation decrease the risk factors of CVDs, such as hypertension, arterial stiffness, and elevated level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol 13,14.”

Although NMN has been proven to improve vascular dysfunction in mice, it has not been thoroughly evaluated in humans.

New Human Trial Shows NMN Reduced Blood Vessel Stiffness and Significantly Decreased Diastolic Blood Pressure

A new human trial using 36 healthy middle-aged participants was recently published showing positive efficacy for NMN.  In this 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group clinical trial, it was shown that just 125mg of NMN twice per day reduced blood vessel stiffness and significantly decreased diastolic blood pressure in participants with elevated glucose levels. (1) NAD+ […]

NMN lowers Cholesterol, bodyweight, and blood pressure in 28 day trial with overweight older adults

A regimen of 1000 mg of MIB-626 twice daily was safe and efficacious

MIB-626 treatment was associated with a substantial increase in blood NAD level from baseline to days 14 and 28

Circulating NMN levels did not change significantly in either group…

NMN Human Trial Shows Increased Endurance, NAD+ Blood Levels, and Benefits to Bioage

A new NMN human trial using 80 middle-aged healthy adults showed that NMN supplementation was both safe and well tolerated.  It also showed that NMN significantly raised NAD+ blood levels, increased endurance, and benefited bioage. Study set out to determine safety and efficacy of NMN supplementation in 4 groups NAD+ levels are known to decline […]

Dogs and Humans Share Same Benefits from NMN Supplementation

Studies have shown the ability of NMN to elevate systemic levels of NAD+ in humans and ameliorate many of the diseases of old age. In a new study on dogs, NMN was shown to be safe and to have similar efficacy as in humans. Dog and human NAD+ levels both decline with age Dogs have […]

NMN and Resveratrol Work Synergistically to boost NAD+ in Heart and Skeletal Muscle

A new study shows that the combination of NMN and Resveratrol works synergistically to increase NAD+ levels in both heart and skeletal muscle tissues in mice. Combination treatments shown to boost efficacy It is becoming more common to treat age-related diseases with anti-aging cocktails, including NAD+ or NMN to boost efficacy.  NMN has been shown […]

New Research with NMN by IV Shows Much Stronger Effect Than Oral Supplementation

There are now 12 studies published to date in humans with NMN supplementation. The previous 11 studies used oral delivery of NMN capsules, and were generally quite positive. This most recent study used a single dose of NMN by IV. Researchers were surprised to find a 75% drop in triglycerides. There haven’t been any previous […]

Intravenous NMN Results in Massive Decrease in Blood Triglyceride Levels

Previous human clinical trials have shown that NAD+ levels can be safely and efficiently replenished by oral NMN supplementation. Until a recent study, however, the safety and efficacy of intravenous NMN had not been firmly established. Intravenous NMN shown to be safe and effective Using 10 healthy volunteers, results indicated that intravenous NMN is both […]

NMN restores kidney function and prevents kidney damage

Use of NMN supplements was shown to activate Sirtuin-1, one of the body’s self repair enzymes, to repair kidney damage and restore kidney function in mice. (1) Kidney damage accumulates with age As we age, we accumulate kidney scarring and tissue hardening, which can impede the kidneys ability to filter proteins in the blood and […]
