Coenzyme Q10 and Migraine Relief

A clinical trial examined Coenzyme Q10’s (CoQ10’s) effects on episodic migraines in women, finding significant reductions in migraine frequency, duration, severity. CoQ10 also reduced the levels of TNF-ɑ and CGRP, a peptide linked to migraines that promotes inflammation and pain signaling.

Anti-Aging Effects of NMN – Human Clinical Trials Review

Resveratrol supplementation effectively protected mice against age-related muscle mass loss, heart cell enlargement, and motor dysfunction.

Study Shows Resveratrol Preserves Muscle Health in Aged Mice

Resveratrol supplementation effectively protected mice against age-related muscle mass loss, heart cell enlargement, and motor dysfunction.

Coenzyme Q10 in Aging, Heart Health, and Fertility

CoQ10 may extend its potential benefits beyond its traditional role in energy production. Emerging research suggests it could provide cardioprotective effects and reduce migraine symptoms. Moreover, its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties have shown promise in addressing age-related disorders and various diseases.

Study Shows NMN Protects Against Lung Damage in Mice

Oral administration of NMN (500 mg/kg) effectively preserved NAD+ tissue and plasma levels during PM exposure and protected against pulmonary fibrosis in mice.

Study Finds Liposomal Berberine Improves Glucose, Lipids, and Inflammation in Rats

“In an animal model of type 2 diabetes, the intragastric delivery of Lip-BBR via liposomes exhibited remarkable protective effects against hepatic tissue damage, steatosis, inflammation, insulin resistance, and hepatocellular enzyme imbalance.”

Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) Increases Plasma NMN and Insulin Levels in Healthy Subjects

This new study found that for the first time that NMN supplementation in humans increases levels of NMN in blood plasma.

All previous studies with NMN and NR have not been able to detect measurable increase in blood levels of NMN or NR.

They also found increased levels of NAD+ and insulin levels.

Study Shows NR Injections Increase Muscle NAD+ in Mice, Oral Supplementation Does Not

NR injections boosted NAD+ levels in skeletal muscle and white adipose tissue.

A ~140% increase in muscle NAD+ was observed after 7 days of IV administration of NR. Oral administration failed to increase NAD+ levels compared to the control group (figure A).

Study Shows NMN Reduces Arterial Stiffness & Blood Pressure

“Several human clinical trials indicate that NR and NAM supplementation decrease the risk factors of CVDs, such as hypertension, arterial stiffness, and elevated level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol 13,14.”

Although NMN has been proven to improve vascular dysfunction in mice, it has not been thoroughly evaluated in humans.

New Human Trial Shows NMN Reduced Blood Vessel Stiffness and Significantly Decreased Diastolic Blood Pressure

A new human trial using 36 healthy middle-aged participants was recently published showing positive efficacy for NMN.  In this 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group clinical trial, it was shown that just 125mg of NMN twice per day reduced blood vessel stiffness and significantly decreased diastolic blood pressure in participants with elevated glucose levels. (1) NAD+ […]
